If you need help, probably one of the best things you can do for yourself is to talk to someone personally who knows what kind of resources are available for you. Calls can be anonymous.

National Youth Crisis Hotline:
1-800-448-4663 (1-800-HIT-HOME)

The National Youth Crises Hotline (1-800-HIT-HOME) offers information and referral services for runaways and youth in crisis nationwide. They also deal with drug and alcohol problems, suicide, rape, physical and sexual abuse situations. In certain situations they can provide a confidential relay for messages between youth and parents without revealing the location of the youth. They will refer youth to Greyhound Bus Station which offer the "Home Free" program. The hotline is a program of Youth Development International. Christian based. Their slogan is: "Help, not hassle." Covenant House
1-800-999-9999 "Nineline"

The Covenant House Nineline is a 24-hour, toll-free crisis hotline which provides crisis intervention, referral and information services to homeless, runaway and other troubled youth and their families throughout the U.S. With a database of over 26,000 agencies, trained crisis counselors are able to refer callers to help in their own communities. National Runaway Switchboard

The National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) is a not-for-profit volunteer organization whose mission is to provide confidential crisis intervention and referrals to youth and their families through national and local telephone switchboards, as well as advocacy and educational services on behalf of youth.
